Sculptural Dessert Design
A sculptural dessert exploring industrial geometry, precision detailing and material language through the familiar form of a fragmentation grenade.
From concept sketch to production-ready object.
(Research)
The project began by analysing the proportions, silhouette and construction of the original object. Every surface, radius and transition was studied before translating the geometry into a dessert capable of being moulded, produced and eaten
(Experiment)
Multiple prototypes were developed to refine the shell geometry, internal structure and cutting experience. Texture, visual weight and material finish were adjusted until the object felt authentic while remaining functional as a plated dessert.
