Sculptural Dessert Design
A structured dessert object exploring luxury form, concealed detail and the tension between desire and restraint
From fashion object to edible architecture.
(Research)
The project began by studying the proportions, structure and visual codes of an iconic luxury handbag. Handle geometry, surface tension, symmetry and closure details were translated into a form capable of being moulded, assembled and served
(Experiment)
Multiple prototypes were developed to refine the shell, handle stability, internal layering and cutting experience. Texture, scale and structural balance were adjusted until the object retained the authority of a fashion piece while functioning as a composed dessert.
