From simple dessert to unforgettable experience, can a dessert become more than a dessert?

The project began with a simple question:
Can a dessert become more than something you simply eat?
Rather than designing another plated dessert, the objective became creating an experience that guests would remember long after the final bite. Research explored interaction, anticipation, theatre and emotional response looking beyond flavour alone to understand how a single moment could become memorable.
(Experiment)
The concept evolved around the idea of impact.
Impact became both the emotional objective and the physical language of the dessert. The familiar relationship between a hammer and striking surface provided a universally understood gesture that transformed serving into performance.
Multiple prototypes were developed to refine the interaction, striking force, shell construction, internal structure and guest experience until every action felt deliberate, intuitive and satisfying.
